The coveted Ad Age A-List & Creativity Awards honor the forward-thinking leaders, top agencies and creative innovators in the industry today. The long-running A-List is handpicked by the editorial staff at Ad Age, who comb through hundreds of submissions. The Creativity Awards are chosen by esteemed juries led by Ad Age.

Ad Age A-List winners and Creativity Awards finalists and winners are published in Ad Age at separate times. All winners will be jointly recognized at a gala held in New York in April, 2019.

2019 CREATIVITY AWARDS

Earning recognition in the Creativity Awards means that your efforts have been a driving force behind the success of campaigns, your company is using technology in savvy ways or your work is setting new standards in emerging categories. 

To be eligible for the Ad Age Creativity Awards, work must have debuted and run between Nov. 1, 2017 and Dec. 31, 2018.

THE BREAKTHROUGH EXPERIENCE AWARD

To achieve a real breakthrough, you must challenge conventional wisdom. Ad Age and WP Engine are looking to honor a project or campaign that used innovative and unique technology to reimagine the traditional web and digital experience for their brand. The campaign will need to have leveraged design and technology (art + science) to build unique digital experiences that surprise the industry, deepen engagement with customers and/or create and build relationships with audiences in new and exciting ways.

The winning project will receive SXSW 2020 Interactive badges, roundtrip airfare and hotel accommodations for two people.

Judged by Ad Age and WP Engine, the winner(s) will be announced at our A-List & Creativity Awards gala on April 15, 2019.

The entry deadline for this category is Feb 15, 2019 at 5pm EST. The entry fee for this category is complimentary.

There is a tiered entry fee structure for each program.

Early Pricing:

$395 per category. Ends October 23 at 11:59pm EST

Regular Pricing:

$450 per category. Ends November 28 at 11:59pm EST

A-List Awards Last Chance Pricing/Final Deadline:

$600 per category. Deadline December 18 at 5pm EST

Creativity Awards Last Chance Pricing/Final Deadline:

$600 per category. Deadline January 8 at 5pm EST

Agency of the Year, Media Agency of the Year and Multicultural Agency of the Year are open to U.S.-based advertising agencies or agency networks of any size. Those entering Media Agency of the Year and Multicultural Agency of the Year will automatically be considered for Agency of the Year and the core A-List of 9 more honorees. The A-List itself, represented by the Agency of the Year category, is open to agencies representing any advertising discipline. For the purposes of these categories, please do NOT enter offices in separate cities as distinct entries.

Agency of the Year, Media Agency of the Year, In-House Agency of the Year and Multicultural Agency of the Year are U.S.-only. International Agency of the Year, Innovator Agency of the Year, Design Agency of the Year, Data/Analytics Agency of the Year and Production Company of the Year are open to agencies anywhere in the world. Agency Executive and CMO of the Year categories are also open to executives anywhere in the world. The Creativity Awards are open to anyone anywhere in the world.
